Greenhouse Works Planner
Planner privacy.
This page describes the Planner’s account and production workspace. It should be reviewed with the final business terms before public launch.
Account and plan information
The service stores your email, organization name, password hash, and membership status. Plans contain the crop, recipe, inventory, task, and photo information you choose to enter. Private workspace access is limited to signed-in members of the same organization with active membership. Paired classroom devices see their team’s assigned task board.
Classroom teams
Teachers can create numbered teams from an enrollment count, assign greenhouse work and pair a classroom device with a short-lived link. No individual student names, emails or passwords are required. Completion records identify the team, its assigned job, task and time. Teachers can end device access.
Calendar import and AI scouting
When enabled, calendar files and submitted pest, disease, or plant-symptom images are sent to the configured AI provider to return a draft calendar or suggested identification. Calendar dates require teacher review before saving. Scouting identification is provisional: the educator reviews the report and chooses any treatment. Safety reports can be submitted without AI identification.
Do not upload student faces, names, personal information, or confidential district records. Team report photos and explanations are stored with the school’s private records. Teachers can review them; other schools cannot access them. Chemical application records store the authorized educator’s application details, corrections, and re-entry information. They do not certify regulatory compliance.
Billing
The checkout provider identified when you purchase handles payment and order management. The Planner stores order or subscription references, paid access dates and membership status. Card numbers are entered at checkout and are not stored by the Planner. Schools can instead request PO/invoice access; authorized administrators review these requests, payment status, and access dates.
Storage and backups
Private contact information, notes, and recipe photos are encrypted. Structured plans are protected by organization access controls; production hosting and backups must also use encryption before launch. You can download a plan backup and crop, basket, supply, and calendar exports. Owner previews save plans in the browser being used; clearing that browser’s storage removes those preview plans.
Photos and growing data
Recipe photos are resized before they are saved with the plan. Add only information and images you have permission to use. Crop timing is based on the growth inputs entered in your workspace.
Account assistance
Contact info@greenhouse-works.com for account assistance or data requests. Retention, account deletion, and final service terms must be confirmed before launch.
